This Northern Virginian earned a BA in Journalism from the University of Maryland, and did graduate work at Johns Hopkins and George Washington University. She began her career as a reporter, covering technology for a globally-recognized tech magazine, then left journalism to work in marketing, advertising and communications.

Michelle speaks fluent Spanish and loves to travel in her free time. She believes in giving back to her community, and does so through a local organization that helps the homeless. Michelle additionally works hard to support her dog Lucy's bone habit, and her dog Bernie's ball catching.
