Did you know Madion Street Tattoo, MST, has a direct linage to the original tattooers of Old Town Alexandria? Shop owner, Danny Zelsman, played a pivotal role in being among the first to bring the art of tattooing to this historic community.

 

Back then, about 10 years ago, they were on King Street under another name and owner. Danny was the resident artist and played a key role in advocating for the City Council to approve this art form and entertainment, as they classified the business. There were some people who raised their eyebrows, but those skeptics have become enthusiasts. 

 

From humble pioneers to becoming a local icon, Madison Street Tattoo is where Old Town's cool cats come to get their creative vibes flowing.
